Terms of use

1. What this site is

Jebel Ali Interiors is an independent editorial resource providing general information about interior fit-out, renovation, coastal building materials and construction approvals for the Jebel Ali corridor of Dubai. It is not a contractor, not a design practice, not a consultancy and not a marketplace, and it does not supply goods or services.

2. Information, not advice

Everything published here is general information. It is not professional advice and it does not take account of your property, your plot, your title documents, your building's rules, your scope of works or your circumstances.

Before acting on anything here you should obtain advice from a suitably qualified professional — a registered consultant, structural engineer, architect, quantity surveyor or lawyer — who has inspected the specific property and the specific proposal.

3. Cost figures

The rates, fees and project totals published on this site are reproduced from publicly available contractor and agency pages, with the source of each figure named on the page where it appears. They are promotional material produced by the firms that published them. They are not audited data, not a market average, not an index and not a quotation.

Those ranges overlap substantially because each publisher bundles a different scope under the same description. Any output from the budget calculator is a planning range derived from those published figures. It is not a price, an estimate of what any particular contractor will charge, or a commitment of any kind.

See methodology for how figures are selected and why an outlier source is published rather than discarded.

4. Regulatory and approval information

Descriptions of approval routes, authority jurisdictions, required documents, registration requirements and processing timelines are summarised from published authority material and from specialist consultants, with sources named. Requirements, formats, portal steps and fees change.

This site is not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting for Trakhees, the Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, Dubai Municipality, Nakheel, Emaar or any other authority, master developer or owners association. Confirm current requirements with the relevant authority and a registered consultant before submitting anything.

5. Community and handover information

Handover counts, delivery phases, contract values and property-mix descriptions are taken from developer press releases and area guides, dated and sourced on the page. Delivery programmes change and announcements are superseded. Nothing here is an indication of when any particular property will be completed or handed over, and nothing here should be relied on in a purchase decision.

6. Interactive tools

The calculators and checklists run entirely in your browser. The snagging checklist stores your ticked items in your browser's local storage so progress survives a reload; that data is not transmitted to this site and is deleted if you clear your browser data or press reset. No account is required and nothing you enter is collected.

Tools are provided as published. If a tool produces an unexpected result, report it via the contact page rather than relying on the output.

7. Third-party links

Pages link to third-party sources so that figures can be checked. This site does not control those sites, is not responsible for their content or their practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Third-party privacy practices are governed by their own policies.

8. No commercial relationship

There are no paid placements, sponsorships, referral arrangements or affiliate links on this site. No contractor, designer or supplier is listed, recommended or ranked. Using this site does not create any contractual, advisory or fiduciary relationship between you and its publisher.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this site and its publisher accept no liability for any loss or damage arising from reliance on any information published here, including any direct, indirect or consequential loss, any cost incurred, any defect, any delay and any loss of profit or opportunity.

Construction and renovation involve material risk. Decisions about property, structure, contracts, permits and expenditure are yours to make with your own professional advisers.

10. Intellectual property

The text, layout and tools on this site are the property of its publisher. Figures reproduced from third parties remain attributable to their original publishers as named on each page.

You may quote short extracts with attribution and a link to the page. You may print the checklists and calculator outputs for your own use. You may not republish whole pages, reproduce the site in a competing service, or present its content as your own.

11. Accuracy and corrections

Reasonable care is taken to publish accurate, sourced information and to correct it when it is superseded. No warranty is given that any content is accurate, complete or current at the time you read it. Each page carries an updated date.

Corrections are welcomed and are applied with the source noted — see contact.

12. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated. The effective date at the top of this page changes when they do. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates, and the courts of Dubai have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
